Usage
This template should not be used directly; {{subst:prod|reason}} should be used instead. The subst: part is important for technical reasons explained in the talk page. This template should not be subst: itself (that is, do not use {{subst:dated prod|...}}). Please remember to use an edit summary when proposing a page for deletion or removing the prod tag.
This template will categorize pages into Category:All articles proposed for deletion and, if used correctly the appropriate dated sub-category (if used incorrectly it puts the article in Category:Proposed deletion as of unknown date 2010 instead). See WP:PROD for how Proposed Deletion works.
