About me
- I became a Wikipedian on March 1, 2004
- I became an administrator on the English Wikipedia on August 26, 2004
- I am a male Russian American
- I am also a self-appointed keeper of consistency :)
- In case you wondered, "Ëzhiki" means "hedgehogs" in Russian
- Feel free to criticize me here (anything goes!)
To-dos & have-dones
In progress
- Administrative divisions of Russia:
Completed
-
Modern administrative divisions of the federal subjects of Russia:
- compiled complete lists of districts, cities/towns, city districts, urban-type settlements, and selsovets of all Russian federal subjects except Chechnya;
- brought administrative and municipal divisions of Adygea to featured list status.
-
Template-making
- Math templates: {{gcd}}, {{dec to frac}}
- Russian geo-locations: {{Infobox Russian inhabited locality}}, {{Infobox Russian district}}, {{Infobox Russian federal subject2}}
- Utility: {{Audio-ru}}, {{Cite Russian law}}, {{Ru-census}}, {{RussiaAdmMunRef}}, {{RussiaBasicLawRef}}
- Proof of concept: {{Infobox Xlit ru}} (an attempt to create a template which would automate transliteration of Russian words), {{Russian district composition}} (probably an overkill)
-
DYKs:
- Created (5): Coat of arms of Kola, Kolsky Uyezd, Microdistrict, Varzuga (rural locality), Yubileyny, Moscow Oblast
- Significantly contributed to (2): APEC Russia 2012, Kultura (newspaper)

- You commented on my talk saying that I should be criticizing Russians, if I say that Russians should not be allowed to criticize Ukrainians. Well telll your Russians colleagues to stop setting my spelling edits back to the wrong spelling of Kyiv, and I will stop my criticisms of Russians.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mmhrycak (talk • contribs)
Random thought of the day week month an undetermined period
It is simply amazing how often people who discard Wikipedia for being "unreliable", "biased", and "untrustworthy" would not hesitate to the slightest to use the first random website showing up in a google search as their "source".
