My Wikipedia Philosophy
I have a personal belief that creating something is harder, more difficult, and more useful to Wikipedia then recommending something for deletion.
Recently I have been browsing through Wikipedia and noticed that some of the users barely create any articles. All they have been doing is recommending AfD. It is one thing to remove articles that are bias, false, promotions, or completely lack notablity. It is another to recommend articles for deletion just for the hell of it, or articles whose reasons for removal are questionable, and I am sick of this. Is the goal of Wikipedia not to create an unbias encyclopedia that contains all the knowledge of the world? So before you go recommending an article for deletion, create or added to another article. Before you delete an image because is it's copyright status is uncertain, find an image to replace it whose copyright status is certain. The more the merry. It greatly harms Wikipedia everytime someone remove information that turns out to be true. So do solid research before removing anything.
The power of Wikipedia is limitless. The more fruitful articles, the better. Fruitful does not necessarily mean prominent. It could be a relatively obscure article that has enough notabilty that people not of the interest group could be interested in. I can't even begin to tell you about all the things I never knew about that have interested me through the unique linking and organized database of wikipedia. For example, I discovered many games such as Zip Zap Boing, movies such as Jacob's Ladder, and video games all through Wikipedia.

Pic of the Day
Picture of the day"Sir Kenneth before the King", the frontispiece from an 1887 edition of Sir Walter Scott's The Talisman: A Tale of the Crusades. The novel takes place at the end of the Third Crusade, mostly in the camp of the Crusaders in Palestine. Scheming and partisan politics, as well as the illness of King Richard the Lionheart, are placing the Crusade in danger. In this scene, Sir Kenneth (far right) confesses to losing the Banner of England on his watch to King Richard (far left), and refuses to offer any defence of himself. By the end of the chapter, he faces his imminent execution. Kenneth is a fictional version of David Earl of Huntingdon, who did in fact return from the Third Crusade in 1190.
