WikiProject Saskatchewan Newsletter: Volume 1, Issue 4 - September 2007

A preliminary Saskatchewan Portal has been created for perusal. Please feel free to copy edit, comment on the talk page and update it. It has used the substitution template for portal creation, and does not become too redundant nor stale as it uses randomized articles for content in the various sections. Please add any new features which showcase Saskatchewan content, these may be in the form of articles, images, quotes, Did you knows, current events or things to do. - The University of Saskatchewan article has now achieved Good article status. It is still on peer review. Soon it will be time for a nomination request for feature status. Peek in from time to time if you wish to add your two cents worth as well.
- Thank you to all the marvellous editors who voted at the Article Collaboration and Improvement Drive for this article. The result was that the article was withdrawn, and didn't reach collaboration :-( It could be that the article was too narrow of a geographical area for other editors to provide input for the Collaboration and Improvement Drive. So now another venture has begun. The article has been listed as a good article nominee. Hopefully, also suggestions for style and section improvement will come forward during the listed peer review as well. See the talk page.
- Please add any newly created articles to the new article section of the upcoming newsletter to show progress of Saskatchewan content on Wikipedia.
- Within the first 5 days of creation, please add a comment to Did you know? to give it more visibility as well.
- Add a news article to the upcoming newsletter with your newly established Did you know?
